Grant Writing Workshops

First Saturday of each month, 10:00 AM

Hands-on workshops for nonprofits and community organizations. Learn to write winning federal, state, and foundation grants. Past participants have secured over $2M in combined funding.

Bi-Weekly

Nonprofit Network Meetups

Every other Wednesday, 6:00 PM

Black Hills nonprofit leaders gather to share resources, collaborate on initiatives, and strengthen the regional network. Refreshments provided.

Quarterly

Youth Entrepreneurship Camps

Quarterly (June, July, August, December)

Week-long immersive camps where young people ages 14-21 build real business plans, learn financial literacy, and pitch to local mentors. Summer focus with a winter intensive.

Annual Impact Gala

October, Black Hills Convention Center

Our signature fundraising event celebrating the year's impact across all 13 BHC entities. Live auction, keynote speakers, and recognition of outstanding community contributors.

Community Investment Forums

Quarterly (March, June, September, December)

Open forums where community members learn about regional investment opportunities, hear from BHC entity leaders, and provide input on Seed Foundation priorities.

Volunteer Orientation Days

Third Saturday of each month, 9:00 AM

New volunteers learn about Seed Foundation programs, get matched with opportunities across all entities, and connect with current volunteers. Coffee and breakfast included.
